Get your pooch ready for a paw-some party.

A big dog festival is taking place in Vancouver this weekend and it's free for all.

Pet-A-Palooza is taking over part of Yaletown on August 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have plenty of fun activities for you and your pup, from a dog pool party to yoga with puppies to dog races.

The festival will have activities all day long. The 120-foot pool party will have canine cabanas and floaties plus a DJ, and pets can also get yummy treats like a puppy pancake breakfast (a new addition this year) and lick up a pupachino from a pupachino drive-thru. They can also strike a cute pose for the pup-arazzi in front of a canine art installation.

Those with English or French bulldogs, Wiener dogs or Corgis are eligible for the dog races which are free to join. The four races will take place every hour starting at 11:30 a.m. and the winning pup in the Running Of The Bulls races will walk away with the Championship Belt.

Dog owners and dog lovers alike can partake in yoga with adoptable puppies (registration is required though).
