Family Law is filming scenes in Vanier Park at 1000 Chesnut St. and the Burrard Civic Marina throughout the day, according to a resident notification law by FLS2 Production Services Inc.

Production was slated to kick off on Tuesday (June 14) at 7 a.m. in the parking lot at the Burrard Civic Marina and continue until 2 p.m.

The letter states that "scenes will include stationary emergency vehicles and actor dialogue." During this filming, pedestrians may be stopped for a couple of minutes.

From 2 until 8 p.m., filming will continue in Vanier Park on the beach pathway and Teatotaler Beach. The scenes will include "a picnic table" and actors "exercising at the beach," according to the schedule.

The film crew will load everything up after the filming wraps up around 8 p.m.

Vancouver film: Family Law TV show

It’s very rare for Vancouver to play itself in a TV show, making Family Law (set at a downtown Vancouver law firm) unique. Starring Victor Garber, season three is now filming, and the Corus series has been picked up for international syndication, including Italy, Australia and the US (on The CW).

The one-hour drama follows a "group of flawed family members who reluctantly work together at their father's law firm in downtown Vancouver," according to IMDB.

Locals have previously shared images of the company filming scenes at Jericho beach

Production is slated to continue until the end of August.
