All good things must come to an end. With this Thanksgiving long weekend comes the conclusion of the Richmond Night Market's 2019 run, and that means it's your last chance to wander the stalls, shop the bargains, and eat all the crazy food from the vendors.
While you may be a fan of the games, entertainment, or shopping, the Richmond Night Market is probably best known for its array of over 500 international foods.
This year, some of the most popular bites have been the rainbow grilled cheese sandwich, deep-fried crab claws, cheese tonkatsu, bubble tea in baby bottles, White Rabbit candy ice cream, all manner of grilled or fried seafood, and enduring street food classics like skewers, hurricane potatoes, mochi, takoyaki, and so much more.
The largest night market in North America is truly a feast for the senses, so if you aren't worried about saving tummy real estate for a Thanksgiving feast, this is your last chance to eat your way around the world from the stalls of the Richmond Night Market.
Closing weekend hours are as follows:
- Fri. Oct. 11 from 7 p.m.-midnight
- Sat. Oct. 12 from 7 p.m.-midnight
- Sun. Oct. 13 from 7-11 p.m.
- Mon. Oct. 14 (Thanksgiving Day) from 7-11 p.m.
The Richmond Night Market is located at 8351 River Road in Richmond. Admission is $4.75 for anyone between the ages of 8-59; kids under 8 and seniors 60+ are free.
