Royal Canadian Circus returns to three Metro Vancouver cities

The Royal Canadian International Circus is returning this month.

The Royal Canadian International Circus (RCIC) is back again with acrobatics, death-defying acts motor cyclist shows in three Metro Vancouver cities next month.

Richmond, Vancouver and Surrey will see the big top tents erected with 28 shows scheduled from May 4 to 22.

  • Guildford Mall (Surrey) from May 4 to 7
  • Concord Pacific Place (Vancouver) from May 11 to 14
  • Lansdowne Centre (Richmond) from May 18 to 22

Visitors can expect to see performances by an aerialist, contortionist, and other stunts such as crossbow acts.

"After last year's record-breaking crowds, we look forward getting back in the ring to showcase our brand new spectacular show this year," said Joseph Dominik Bauer, ringmaster of RCIC and circus veteran.

He added that the circus is a "unique opportunity" to show their children something new and exciting in a safe environment."
