THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: more free shows, and more outdoor concerts! Friday you can see The River and The Road at the Jack Poole Plaza at 12:30 as part of the Peak Poole Party series. This is the last one of the summer, so be sure to head that way! In the evening there are two great shows to choose from. First is the Close Talker show at the Biltmore that we told you about with this week's playlist. Second over at the Malkin Bowl, you can see The Sheepdogs, with Imaginary Cities, and The Harpoonist and The Axe Murderer. And if you feel like getting out of town, the Sunshine Music Festival in Powell River has some great local acts performing all weekend.
