Swine Out Vancouver: Meat and drink at this charcuterie and craft beer event

Get ready to go whole hog at the second annual Swine Out Vancouver, and event that pairs artisan-made charcuterie with local craft beers.

Get ready to go whole hog at the second annual Swine Out Vancouver, and event that pairs artisan-made charcuterie with local craft beers.

Featuring a line-up of local and visiting chefs as well as B.C. craft brewers, Swine Out Vancouver is an evening of food and drink that is organized by Chefs' Table Society of BC in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Association. The gathering takes place on Tuesday, November 5 at Heritage Hall in Vancouver.

Your ticket to this meaty night of good cheer includes all your food, as well as samples of all six of the beers being poured for Swine Out.

This year's participating chefs are:

  • Ryan Byrd, Two Rivers Specialty Meats
  • Eva Chin, Boulevard
  • Welbert Choi/Ariana White, Timber Restaurant/Forage
  • Josh Gale, Nicili's Antica Pizzeria
  • Stefan Hartmann, Tacofino
  • Dave Mottershall, Terre Rouge (P.E.I.)
  • Pekka Tavela
  • Brody White, The Chop'n Block (Kamloops)

When it comes to the beer, Swine Out's 2019 participating breweries include: Big Rock; Brassneck; Faculty Brewing; Main St. Brewing; R&B; and Red Truck.
