This is not a drill: Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Vancouver.
Swift announced three Vancouver shows in late 2024 at BC Place on Thursday, Nov. 2. The announcement has many local Swifties in an excited frenzy, and some fans shared their euphoria on social media.
"Taylor didn't forget about us," one Swiftie wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another says on X that they "woke up to my roommate banging on my door, 18 missed calls, 40 texts, and six [FaceTime calls]. Do you think Taylor Swift announced something?"
Even TransLink chimed in online to welcome Taylor Swift to Vancouver.
Ticketmaster has opened registration now through Nov. 4 for fans to be in contention to get a coveted invite to buy tickets for the Vancouver shows. Tickets go on sale starting Nov. 9, 2023.
Snagging a ticket to see Taylor Swift is a hot commodity, and one Vancouver fan joked about how difficult it can be.
