The Proof

1. These are my favourite boots, i bought them in san francisco and pretty much wear them every day.

2. Along with my grey boots, this jacket and shirt are my uniform.

3. This is my funny little tin mug, i love coffee and i love this mug.

4. This is the little corner in my bedroom where i write and work on music. it's really awesome except when it's filled with dirty laundry and starts smelling like it's filled with dirty laundry.

5. This is my 1977 rickenbacker bass, Sailor (named after David Lynch's amazing Wild at Heart character). I got it on new years eve and love it to bits.

6. This is a great record my boyfriend bought me at christmas and we listen to it nonstop. When Dear Doctor comes on we howl along like fools and it's a lot of fun.

7. In the back of Front, where I work, there are about ten thousand bag-filled shelves, just like this one... sometimes it gets a little overwhelming

8. This is my desk at Front. I share it with two other girls. it's always really messy but we keep it looking pretty OK with funny drawings and photos of balmain jackets.

The Questions

What neighborhood do you live in?

I live just off Main street - Above nice cafe!

What do you do and where?

I spend most of my time writing and playing bass for Dead Voices. I write at home alot, but a few days during the week I get together with our producers at this really awesome house out near UBC. I also work, part time as a picker and consignment manager at Front & Company (Main and 22nd). And when I'm not doing that I'm involved with a couple other bands and projects: Chief Jesus, Victories, Jakalope and super recently Fake Shark Real Zombie.

What are you working on?

Song writing w/ Dead Voices (constantly), learning impossible FSRZ bass parts, attempting to get into trancendental meditation (thanks David Lynch!), trying to get DV merch designed and printed, trying to drink more water and pay down my visa bill.

Where can we find your work?

Some music here but the best thing would be to come see a show... So at The Railway this Friday April 2nd!

Which websites would you like mentioned?

uhh.. my future blogspot : rockandrollismyguitar (which probably won't actually exist for another 8 years but would be worth mentioning if it did exist)
