There's a TikTok cottagecore picnic happening in Vancouver

If you see a group of spectacularly dressed women in Queen Elizabeth Park, now you know why.

Calling all cottagecore girlies!

A TikTok group called @creatives.vancity is putting on another aesthetically themed picnic for people to come together, make friends, and create social media content - this time with the theme of spring and the wildly popular lifestyle trend cottagecore

Scheduled for Friday, May 13 at 5 p.m. in the Queen Elizabeth Park rose garden (rain-permitting), girls in spectacular spring and summer frocks will assemble for a picnic fit for the Romantic period.

The event will be rescheduled in the event of rain but provided it's sunny out, the video announcement says to bring a blanket, your own food and snacks, and wear a spring/cottagecore dress. A previous video recommended wearing shades of pink, yellow, orange, and red to coordinate with the sunset.

Previously the crew of five women that make up @creatives.vancity have hosted cherry blossom and princess picnics that have rendered lots of styling pictures and videos for social media.

The picnic is free to attend and everyone is invited.
