The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival presents L.A. Party / An Evening with William Shatner Asterisk, a double-bill evening by acclaimed New York theatre artist Phil Soltonoff, from January 21-25 at SFU's Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

In An Evening with William Shatner Asterisk sound and video clips of Captain James T. Kirk of the original Star Trek series are stitched together to create a meticulously catalogued montage. Like an oracle, the young Shatner beams from the screen to 'speak' about art, science and the human condition of the future. This theatre conceived for a post-human world. (Shatner's likeness and images were used with the blessings of the big man himself.)

So, to get us all in the mood for an evening featuring our favourite Canadian acting icon, here's a compilation of our 10 favourite on-screen William Shatner moments through the times.

1. Handsome Shatner sees a plane gremlin, loses his mind.

See Shatner's likeness in all its kookiness in An Evening with William Shatner Asterisk (double billed with L.A. Party) by Phil Soltonoff at the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival. Better than lining up at Comic Con.
