The 21st Vancouver Chinatown Festival takes place on July 15 to 16, 2023 on Columbia and Keefer streets.

The Vancouver Chinatown Festival is back with a full slate of entertainment and activities this weekend.

On July 15 from noon to 8:30 p.m. and July 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the festival is taking over Columbia and Keefer streets, celebrating the culture and community of Chinatown.

There are numerous fun performances, festivities, and family-friendly activities at the event.

Food Trucks and Market

There will be a number of food trucks and an artisan market featuring special gifts and crafts from different vendors available at the festival.

Activities

A heritage walking tour will take place multiple times over the two days. There will also be MahJong, theme areas, and a petting zoo with live animals for families to enjoy.

July 15

  • Lion Dance by Kin Fung Athletic Group
  • Playlist Band Vancouver
  • Shimmy for the Soul Bellydance
  • Variety of acts by Morning Dawn Brilliance, Sunny Dance Group, Belly Dance by Cicilian and Vancouver Blue Sky Love Art Troupe
  • Madison Reunion Band
  • Martial arts performance by Immortal Dragon
  • Cloud Town Dance Club
  • Free Salsa lessons and Salsa party with DJ Kubanito

July 16

  • Tai Chi Class with Master Tek Siaw
  • Dance performace by the Flower Dance Academy
  • The Paul Tavai-Latta Polynesian Dancers and Co. of Vancouver
  • Modern Magic by Kel
  • Kung Fu Demonstration by Immortal Dragon
  • Time Machine Band
  • Performance by DJ Pax and DJ zVertikal
  • Performance by Vancouver Dance Academy
