Where were you during the supermoon lunar eclipse?

A beautiful and rare event happened Sunday night! The blood supermoon lunar eclipse was a celestial event that we won't see again until 2033. Our Daily Photo #2267 is from Instagrammer mindythelion, who snapped this photo in False Creek.

So my friend @hayles_w I were biking around #Vancouver last night and couldn’t for the life of us figure out why there were crowds of people heading towards #ScienceWorld and we were the *only* two awkward chickens heading away from it ????. We'd completely forgotten about the #supermoon, and once we realized what was going on, had just enough time to turn around and peddle like ninjas back to my apartment so we could race upstairs to grab my camera and snap this photo ?. From our angle it looked like a big balloon floating in the sky ?
