Delicious Pho in Coquitlam is a new entry into the annual Taste of the Tri-Cities food and drink festival.

The deadline is Friday, Jan. 26, for Tri-City eateries to sign up for the third annual Taste of the Tri-Cities.

The food and drink festival that’s designed to promote local restaurants, breweries, pubs, cafés and food trucks runs from Feb. 16 to March 10, 2024.

And, during that time, customers can try out a dine-in set menu, or grab a take-out special or a meal discount.

Last year, more than 50 establishments took part in the celebration, which is organized by the Tri-Local collective to spur economic development:

  • Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
  • Austin Heights BIA
  • Downtown PoCo BIA
  • Tourism Coquitlam
  • City of Port Coquitlam
  • City of Port Moody
  • Global News
  • Tri-City News

So far, Taste of the Tri-Cities 2024 has several businesses new to the campaign:

  • Coquitlam
    • Mega Sushi
    • Delicious Pho
    • Haan Korean BBQ
    • Mr. Pretzels
    • Jamila’s Kitchen & Grill
    • Pokerrito
  • Port Moody
    • Brave Brewing
    • Mercado Mexican Market
    • Osteria Povera

Chloe Wan, the Chamber’s director of strategy, told the Tri-City News today, Jan. 22, that restaurant owners don’t need to be a Chamber member to take part in the festival.

As well, there is no entry fee; however, $100 worth of gift certificates are suggested for promotions and outreach.

“This is your chance to showcase your restaurant’s flavours and be a part of a community-wide celebration,” Wan said.
