Bread x Butter: New cafe and sandwich shop opens in downtown Vancouver

For those in search of weekday breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown Vancouver, there's a fresh new option for grabbing a bite.

Focusing on daytime fare, Bread x Butter's menu includes breakfast and lunch options. Kick-start your day with a breakfast sandwich, bagel with house-cured salmon, or avocado toast. Soup, an array of salads, and several sandwiches take centrestage for midday eats, including dishes like a wrap stuffed with quinoa, a mix of local mushroomsfrom Oyster and King, kale, and onion jam; a classic BLT on whole wheat bread; and a poached prawn salad.

Additionally, Bread x Butter offers several fresh pastries, and beverages like brewed and espresso-based coffees, tea, and bottled cold beverages.

In the kitchen at Bread x Butter you'll find former Top Chef Canada chef-testant Felix Zhou, who was previously at Vancouver's Heritage Asian Eatery.

Currently Bread x Butter is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seating includes the option of enjoying your food in the courtyard patio area. Pre-order and pick up food to go from Bread x Butter via Ritual.
