Back for a 22nd year of giving diners in Vancouver a reason to look forward to some of the otherwise dreariest months of the year, Dine Out Vancouver has set its dates for 2024.
Canada's largest food and drink celebration will take place January 17 through February 4, and will feature more restaurants than ever before, according to organizers at Destination Vancouver.
The Dine Out Vancouver (DOV) festival is, at its core, a dine-around event, which this year will find over 380 restaurants in and around Vancouver offering special fixed-price menus and other tempting specials as a way to bring a little excitement (and revenue) into the shoulder season. Meals and deals are available from $20 to $65 per person, a long with some thrilling add-on options expected.
DOV "is a great opportunity for visitors and locals alike to celebrate Vancouver’s world-renowned culinary scene and show their support and love for local eateries," describe organizers in a media release.
On top of the dine-around component at popular local restaurants, DOV also has an array of tantalizing programming, from special dinners featuring guest chefs from prestigious restaurants around the globe, classes and workshops, exciting gatherings, and, of course, its beloved daytime food truck feature, called Street Food City (running Jan. 20 to 28, 2024).
Tickets for Dine Out Vancouver's special events go on sale Dec. 4.
On January 9, the list of participating restaurants and their special menus for the dine-around portion will go live, so guests can plan accordingly.
