A new Shanghai food stall specializing in steamed buns is set to open in a Richmond food court.
Shanghai Winning Baozi is taking over the former Shanghai Morning's stall, which quietly closed earlier this summer, on the third floor of Aberdeen Centre.
"Baozi" is the Chinese term for steamed buns, and the stall's menu features a wide selection of them.
Offerings include classic steamed pork buns, vegetables buns and pan-fried buns.
The new vendor will also serve traditional Shanghainese dishes, including steamed pork soup dumplings (xiao long bao), green onion pancakes, dumplings and wonton soup.
The menu also includes tofu shreds and smashed cucumbers as appetizer options.
