Brentwood is set to add another culinary gem to its growing roster — a popular Fraser Valley ocean-inspired seafood restaurant/gastropub, Bow & Stern.

The family-owned local restaurant, which was established in 2014, has been operating in Chilliwack and Abbotsford since its opening.

The first Metro Vancouver location at the Amazing Brentwood was announced by the establishment on its Instagram page.

With roots in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, the stylish restaurant is known widely for its passion for creating an atmosphere where people gather, dine and enjoy a scrumptious meal.

Bow & Stern offers a mouthwatering maritime-themed menu — from fish and chips, sushi, oysters, Baja fish tacos and scallop carbonara to a variety of seafood platters. However, it’s not just the seafood menu — they have yam fries and chicken options for the vegetarian folks and the chicken lovers.

Although details are quite still up in the air, the upcoming Burnaby restaurant will be located right above the Bank of Montreal (BMO) branch at Brentwood, and Bow & Stern eyes an opening in early 2024, notes the post.

The gastropub is an addition to the growing food roster at the Brentwood mall, which in recent weeks has welcomed Michelin-recommended restaurant Neptune Palace Seafood, Ajishou Japanese Cuisine and Earls and also has big names like Hello Nori, billed as Vancouver’s first Japanese hand roll bar, Tap & Barrel and Haidilao Hot Pot opening in the upcoming months.
