Fall is here, and our warm-weather farmers markets in Metro Vancouver are wrapping up for the season in October. While that means we won't be strolling the aisles in full summer sun for a few months, there are a few farmers' markets in the region that operate during the cooler season.

Here are five fall and winter farmers' markets you'll find in Metro Vancouver.
Vancouver
1. Hastings Park (Nov 4, 2018 - Apr 28, 2019)
Where: Hastings Park – Centregrounds (between the Forum and the Agrodome on the PNE grounds)
When: Sundays 10 am – 2 pm (except December 30)
2. Riley Park (Now through April 19)
Where: East 30th Avenue & Ontario Street
When: Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm
Port Moody
3. Port Moody Winter Farmers’ Market (November 2018 to April 2019)
Where: Port Moody Recreation Complex – 300 Ioco Road, Port Moody
When: Sundays 10 am – 2 pm
Richmond
4. Cannery Farmers Market (October 21; November 4 & 18; December 2, 9, 16, 2018; February 3 & 17; March 3, 17, 31; April 14 & 28, 2019)
Where: Gulf of Georgia Cannery Historic Site – 12138 Fourth Avenue, Richmond
When: Select Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm
New Westminster
5. New West Farmers Market Winter Market (Select Saturdays November- April)
Where: Belmont Street between Sixth and Seventh streets, New Westminster
When: 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month from November to April from 11 am to 3 pm; check website for dates)
