Homicide investigators are looking into the disappearance of 41-year-old Chilliwack man Jamie Curtis Bristol.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took over the missing person case on Jan. 3.
Sgt. Timothy Pierotti says IHIT became actively involved after evidence showed foul play was involved.
“We’re appealing to the public for any information that can help us locate Mr. Bristol,” says Pierotti.
Police believe his last known contact with someone was on Dec. 22, 2023.
He’s described as at six-foot, 180 lbs and has brown eyes. Bristol has a distinctive tattoo on his scalp and also a skull with flames tattoo on his neck.
“We’re going to continue to work closely with the Chilliwack RCMP and our integrated partners to find Mr. Bristol as soon as possible,” says Pierotti.
IHIT is also responsible for investigating high-risk missing persons where foul play is suspected along with investigating homicides and suspicious deaths.
