On March 8, about a million calls came in across the province to book COVID-19 vaccines.

Due to a slow start, only 369 people in the VCH region – aged 90 and older – managed to secure appointments. However, the timeline to book vaccines have accelerated since then.

The vaccination schedules will go in five-year increments every week.

There are three immunization clinics being set up in Richmond: East Richmond Community Hall (west of Cambie secondary), Jackson Lam Adult Day Care in Steveston and River Rock Casino.

The number to call in VCH to book an appointment is 1-877-587-5767.
