Celebration of Light

In 2000, Benson & Hedges withdrew funding for the Symphony of Fire annual fireworks and music competition, which it had sponsored for a decade. New advertising regulations had forced the tobacco company out. In 2001, new sponsors stepped in and the summer light show over English Bay became the Celebration of Light.
