Vancouver Art Gallery

In 1931, Vancouver had a new art gallery to celebrate on West Georgia, just a few blocks away from its current location. The gallery sparkled for its grand opening, in an art deco building originally built in 1911. The next incarnation of the Vancouver Art Gallery will be built on Larwill Park, (also a few blocks away from its current location). The groundbreaking event is scheduled for 2017.
