This North Vancouver general store has been greeting people for 110 years

For 110 years there’s been a store in Upper Lynn Valley at the end of the line.

After travelling through snags of denuded forest, commuters could hop off the streetcar’s last stop – just about where Dempsey and Lynn Valley roads meet today – and be welcomed by a small shack of a store.

Today, the aptly named The End of the Line General Store greets public transit passengers heading to Lynn Headwaters Park, and the Lynn Canyon trails.
