This video is a double throwback of Vancouver in the 1930s vs. 1990s

Anything look familiar?

Nineties nostalgia is real, but things get really intense when you double down and throw it back to the 1930s in a photographic then and now comparison.

That's the premise of this video from the early 1990s, that takes a look at landmark Vancouver locations sixty years apart...and now that's all nearly 30 years in the past, too.

Cross the Burrard Inlet on a paddlewheeler...or a funky 90s SeaBus. Cross the Burrard Bridge by car then...and now, then journey on across the Granville Bridge in both decades. Anything look familiar?

The 1930s footage was shot by Sidney Groberman, and the video produced in 1993 for the Knowledge Network.
