Visions of British Columbia
This gorgeous book highlights Vancouver and British Columbia's rich relationship to landscape, culture and art. Launched in conjunction with a show at the Vancouver Art Gallery held during the Olympics, Visions of British Columbia is a tour of the show including images of paintings, photography and sculpture. The art is juxtaposed to writing by local voices including Douglas Coupland, Timothy Taylor, Ethel Wilson, Audrey Thomas and Wayson Choy. It's a beautiful and engaging book and we highly recommend it!
