From “The Quiet” published in the latest Taddle Creek Magazine

In the spirit of August, Taddle Creek Magazine is on the road. They are traveling in celebration of the Out-Of-Towner issue, which features new fiction and poetry from Canadian writers coast-to-coast (including Vancouverite Danielle Egan). This very special issue is a bit of a literary fling since Taddle Creek usually pays homage to writers who call Toronto home.

You can get a taste of the magazine here with a short story by Michael Christie that opens with an emerald green Mercedes-Benz whipping across the Lion’s Gate Bridge. But to truly quench your literary thirst, make sure to come to the live reading tomorrow night.  The Vancouver stop of the Taddle Creek Travelling Series of Happenings will include readings by Michael Christie (Mercedes guy mentioned above), Peter Darbyshire, Marguerite Pigeon and local literary dreamboat Lee Henderson.
