The Vancouver Aquarium is getting into the spooky spirit this Halloween with an exciting after hours offering featuring all the creepiest creatures.

The Aquarium notes that roughly 60,000 brilliantly costumed inhabitants await the celebrants of All Hallows Eve, and that, "Surely, our tarantula’s spidey senses are tingling." They also note that the eels are waiting to put on an electrifying show, and that the Aquarium humans are preparing for the scariest adult party of the year.

Guests are encouraged to dress up (or come as you are), however, the Aquarium asks that you please dress in ocean-friendly fashion, without sequins or glitter. From there, you can wander the galleries, sip a cocktail and scout everything from slithery snakes to spiky sea urchins to potentially hungry piranhas.

Eager partygoers should buy tickets in advance and compete to win costume and trivia contests. Guests will also get to watch A Reef Reborn: 4D. Revisit and learn all about the terrifying wonders of the shark world.

In order to get guests home safely, the Aquarium will be offering a free shuttle from the Aquarium to Canada place at the end of the night.
