We'll be switching from sunscreen and shades to hoodies and umbrellas later this week.

We might be seeing sun as the first days of June arrive, but we're due to get rain again in Vancouver later this week.

This week is starting off with some sun in Vancouver, but the forecast will force us to break out our hooded jackets and umbrellas sooner than later this week.

On Monday (May 31), Vancouver can expect a mix of sun and cloud, with clearing skies in the afternoon and a high of 20C, according to Environment Canada.

The sun will likely stretch through Wednesday, with temps in the low 20s closer to the water and soaring into the upper 20s inland.

But you'll be ditching your sunscreen and shades come Thursday, as the clouds roll in and bring with them a chance of showers daily through Saturday. The clouds may even stick around for Sunday, too, with temps on the weekend dropping back down into the high teens, around 17-18C.
