Burnaby Village Museum is about to turn into a Christmas town — with all the bells and whistles.

The annual holiday event, Heritage Christmas, is set to return to the outdoor museum, completely transforming it into a 10-acre Christmas town with traditional decor, holiday lights and spirit.

The winter wonderland will open this Saturday, Nov. 26, and run until Jan. 2.

Did we mention that the admission to the Christmas town is free? Take a stroll inside the 10-acre Christmas town and soak in all the holiday activities offered at the museum. The aviphiles can take part in the bird-themed scavenger hunt that will include a menagerie of your favourite “adorned larger-than life eco-sculptures,” according to the museum.

You can also treat yourself to some delicacies from the ice cream parlour or from Cravings Kettle Corn.

The museum is advising patrons to consider leaving their cars at home due to limited parking availability.
