Cruise to some tunes with the Capitol Centre’s Summer Cruise Series

It includes the popular Blues Cruise with The Jesse Thomas Band

The Capitol Centre thinks it's on to a good thing with its "Blues Cruise" and so its going to expand the experience this summer.

Tickets are now on sale for the Capitol Centre’s Summer Cruise Series with an expansion of its annual sell-out Blues Cruise. It added a Classic Rock Cruise and a Country Cruise, all hosted on the Chief Commanda II and featuring local bands.

“We are so excited to offer a different option to our local music lovers this summer,” says Dan Misturada, Director of Programming. “With the cancellation of our annual Bluesfest, we knew that the Blues Cruise needed to live on, as it has always been a fan favorite that sells out year after year. The Summer Cruise Series is a great way for music fans to experience local bands in a way that is truly unique to North Bay!"

Here's the schedule:

  • Classic Rock Cruise with Blue Screw- Friday, July 26
  • Country Cruise with The County- Friday, August 9
  • Blues Cruise with The Jesse Thomas Band- Friday, August 30

All three cruises will set sail at 7 pm, with boarding starting at the Government Dock at 6:30, for a sunset cruise around Lake Nipissing ending around 10. Tickets for individual cruises can be purchased, but a three-cruise package is also available.

The single cruise price is $55, and the three-pack is $135. You must be 19+ to attend.
