**Update as of Oct. 25, 7:37 p.m.: Normal Expo Line service is resuming. Customers should expect some gaps as we get things back to normal.**

**Update as of Oct. 25, 6:04 p.m.: Very limited service on the Expo Line has been restored. Some trains will use the unaffected part of the guideway, alternating directions. Some trains will turn back at Commercial-Broadway and at Metrotown.

Customers should make note of whether or not they are on a train that will be turning back. The bus bridge from Commercial to Metrotown remains in effect. Customers can also take the Millennium Line around by transferring back to the Expo Line at Production Way or Lougheed.**

TransLink has announced that powerful winds have caused a tree to fall down on the Expo Line which has shut down service between Commercial-Broadway and Metrotown SkyTrain Stations.

The transit authority notes that a tree has "fallen on the guideway" and therefore Expo Line trains are turning back at Commercial-Broadway and Metrotown Stations. As such, there is no SkyTrain service between these stations at this time.

TransLink remarks that commuters leaving Vancouver have two options for alternative service: They can switch to the Millennium Line at Commercial-Broadway Station and transfer back to the Expo Line at Production Way or Lougheed Stations.

A bus bridge is also being set up to drive customers from Commercial-Broadway to Metrotown. However, customers should expect delays.

TransLink adds that Millennium and Canada Lines are unaffected, and are running normally.

Additional security and Transit Police are at the stations to ensure passenger safety and crowd control.
