Here's how often Vancouver could have thunderstorms this week

The Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes the risk of thunderstorms as well as plenty of rain and wind this week. 

Starting on Monday (Sept. 27), Environment Canada calls for mainly cloudy skies and a few showers this afternoon with the risk of a thunderstorm. Additionally, 20 km/h wind gusting to 40 km/h is expected. 

Monday night's forecast also includes the risk of a thunderstorm as well as periods of rain and 20 km/h wind. 

Tuesday's forecast also calls for rain ending in the morning with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. There is also a risk of a thunderstorm in the morning and early in the afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday are also expected to be wet, while Friday is expected to be sunny.
