The International House of Pancakes (IHOP) admitted today that it had 'faked' its name change to IHOb to promote its new burger menu.
The International House of Burgers (IHOb) is no longer according to a tweet from the company where it says "we'd never turn our back on pancakes (except for that time we faked it to promote our new burgers)."
IHOP took the opportunity to show its dedication to pancakes by announcing that it would offer 60 cent short stack pancakes on July 17 to celebrate its 60th birthday.
Some people clearly felt betrayed.
I feel so lied to :(
