The Banksyland tour is coming to Vancouver.

Art from the elusive Banksy is on its way to Vancouver.

Banksyland, an exhibit including original works by the enigmatic artist along with work inspired by the artist and installations, is arriving in Vancouver at the end of September.

Banksy is a street artist based in England who rose to prominence in the early 2000s for clever, political pieces of work. He's gone on to create art worldwide, sold pieces to celebrities, and created high-profile pieces. He's placed his art in famous art museums, destroyed a piece of work after it was sold at auction, and reworked Paris Hilton's debut album with Danger Mouse.

The 22-city tour will be in Vancouver from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

"The all-new Vancouver exhibit features more than 80 pieces and installations; including original and studio works, salvaged street artworks, and never-before-seen immersive installations at a secret location in central Vancouver," states a release from organizers.

While the show includes original work by Banksy, it's not an official tour and Banksy doesn't make any money directly from it.
