Lizzo gave a shout out to Vancouver's Black Library in an interview ahead of her Rogers Arena show.

The sensational Lizzo was in Vancouver earlier this week to perform at Rogers Arena as part of her Special Tour and while she was here, the songstress met with a local legend and gave a shoutout to the Vancouver Black Library.

As part of an interview with Naurdwar, Lizzo recorded a clip of her saying "make sure you check out the Vancouver Black Library" which has since been posted to the organization's Instagram.

The Library opened in Chinatown in August and runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays to Sundays. Its goal is to provide a central space for the city's Black community to connect, the library is both a place to borrow books and a hub for programming such as group therapy, community care fundraising efforts, art exhibitions, poetry readings, book clubs, and zine-making to take place.

During the interview, Lizzo also stunned the interviewer with perhaps the best "doot doo" sign-off of all time.
