A man is wanted Canada-wide after failing to return to his halfway house, say Vancouver Police.

On Wednesday (Jan. 19), Timothy Wyslouzil, 51, failed to return to his halfway house by curfew, explains a news release. He has a history of targeting strangers and vulnerable people.

Police believe Wyslouzil "poses a public safety risk."

Wyslouzil is white, five feet seven inches tall and about 250 pounds. He has salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark winter coat with a fur-lined hood, dark pants, a blue shirt and dark shoes.  He was wearing a baseball cap, eyeglasses and a medical mask.  He has a cross tattooed on his left forearm and a star tattooed on his right forearm.

Anyone who sees Timothy Wyslouzil, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call 911 immediately.
