Vancouver police arrested a man who was wanted Canada-wide for assault with a weapon.
An investigation by Vancouver Police Department (VPD) using tips from the public led to charges against 35-year-old Mohammed Majidpour for his alleged attack on a woman.
VPD released a photo of Majidpour on Oct. 5 in hope that the public can help locate him.
He was taken into custody late this afternoon (Oct. 6) after someone recognized him. Majidpour has been taken to jail.
