A medical emergency led to a service disruption on the Expo Line in Metro Vancouver Tuesday morning, according to TransLink, however, trains have resumed running as of just before 10 a.m.

Service was suspended between Scott Road Station in Surrey and New Westminster Station in New West, as well as between Sapperton Station to New Westminster Station.

The transit agency said additional bus service was put into place to accommodate customers needing to travel between those stations.

The Canada Line and the Millennium Lines were unaffected, says TransLink.
