A man was arrested outside the Starbucks in Steveston on Thursday morning, for allegedly committing a “lewd sexual act.”
Richmond resident Rocky Pantiluck contacted the Richmond News to say he had witnessed a man being arrested near No. 1 Road and Bayview Street at around 9:15 a.m.
Pantiluck said his wife went inside Starbucks to get a coffee when she heard that the man subsequently arrested had been naked in his car nearby.
When contacted about the arrest, a spokesperson for Richmond RCMP confirmed that officers responded to a “complaint of a man allegedly committing a lewd sexual act” near the aforementioned area.
The spokesperson added that the suspect was found and arrested without incident, but wasn’t able to offer any other details at the moment.
