Nanaimo RCMP have released a photo of a man they believe was involved in a shooting outside a home on Laguna Way in early July.
The investigation continues into the brazen shooting which took place around 8 p.m. on July 7 in a neighbourhood in the north end of Nanaimo, Const. Gary O’Brien said Thursday.
Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a dispute involving a person who lived in the house. One man was taken to hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg.
The photo shows the suspect walking up the driveway toward the victim’s home just before the shooting, O’Brien said.
Officers are also looking for the man driving the getaway vehicle, an older model white Honda Accord. Police do not have any photos of this person, O’Brien said.
