East Coast meets West Coast.

Modernized classic loafers, versatile takes on everyday footwear, and weather-proof chic coats to top off (or make) the look; La Canadienne has arrived.

The Montreal-based retailer is loved across Canada for its functional all-season shoes and boots that don't skimp on style. Made with Quebec's ever-changing weather in mind, the brand first branched out into neighbouring metropolis Toronto in 2021.

This spring, La Canadienne (which opened in 1987) expanded its East Coast flair westward, opening its fourth brick-and-mortar store and first Vancouver location on March 17. The store opening comes in time with La Canadienne's spring-summer collection.

Located in the downtown core at 779 Burrard St., the 2,200 sq. ft. luxury store features a demonstration area for the brand's latest waterproof CityDry collection and a comfy lounge where shoppers can take a brief pause.

Though doors have already opened, the Vancouver location is planning a grand opening event in October to kick off the brand's fall-winter collection.
