Summer in New West just got a boost with the announcement that the New West Craft Summer Night Market is coming back.

New West Craft, hosted by the Arts Council  of New Westminster, is designed to provide a welcoming space for crafters and artisans to share their work with the community.

After a two-year hiatus, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the night market will be back on the boardwalk at Westminster Quay once again.

You'll be able to enjoy the work of more than 70 vendors, plus music, food and more. An on-site DJ will be entertaining crowds as shoppers take the time to browse stalls, enjoy food from River Market eateries and get to know local makers.

“The New West Craft Summer Night Market is a summertime staple, and we can’t wait for it to return to River Market,” said Laura Grady, program manager of the Arts Council of New Westminster. “The Summer Night Market is always a fun and vibrant place for the community and beyond to shop locally, to connect with makers and artists and take in the summer vibe along New West's waterfront.”

The market is easily accessed from the New Westminster SkyTrain stations. For those who drive, there's plenty of parking available nearby.
