Every Friday Cory Ashworth and Laurie Logan have me on their morning show on 100.5 The Peak to quickly chat about One Awesome Thing happening in Vancouver right now.

Every Friday Cory Ashworth and Laurie Logan have me on their morning show on 100.5 The Peak to quickly chat about One Awesome Thing happening in Vancouver right now.

This morning we talked about how excess heat from sewage below the city is being siphoned off to heat my home and hot water, and that of all of my neighbours in The Village on False Creek! Listen to the quick chat I had with Cory and Laurie below for all you really need to know then if you want to dig really deep and see charts and stuff read the in-depth piece on it HERE...

As a side note I wanted to point out we usually do these pieces for The Peak before I've had any coffee, so two small corrections this week: The sculpture is actually to the EAST of the Cambie Bridge and it's not called the Neighbourhood Energy Unit, it's the Neighbourhood Energy Utility!
