Peace & Kindness Rally held at City Hall Saturday

The Peace & Kindness Rally was held at City Hall on Saturday afternoon for everyone that struggled with so very many issues that the world has been plundered with over the last two years.

Jenn Matthews, one of the community of organizers that presented the Peace & Kindness Rally (sometimes called the Kindness & Peace Rally) at City Hall on Saturday afternoon, said the rally was for everyone that struggled with so very many issues that the world has been plundered with for the last two years.

The Peace & Kindness Rally was in response to all the events in the recent past including the occupation of Ukraine.

The public was invited to this friendly gathering and encouraged to bring along pro-science, pro-peace, and pro-democracy signs. Organizers were confident this event would allow for some friendly interaction with like-minded people.

The event celebrated health care workers, the strength of the community coming together, and there was a moment of silence in recognition of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The UHNBC Drumming Group were also in attendance to offer some uplifting songs.

People were encouraged to write a chalk message in front of the steps of City Hall while off to the side there was a Peace & Kindness Labyrinth people could walk.
