Photos: Coquitlam actor reprises role of Stewart in 'Letterkenny'

Tyler Johnston is back for the 11th season of "Letterkenny," which drops on Dec. 25, 2022.

If you're a fan of the TV comedy Letterkenny, you’ll want to clear part of your holidays for the new season.

Six new episodes — featuring Coquitlam's Tyler Johnston as Stewart — drop on Christmas Day via Crave:

  • "Chips"
  • "Okoya"
  • "Lost Dog"
  • "Nudes"
  • "Influenzas"
  • "Degens"

The award-winning program created by Jared Keeso typically releases its new seasons on Dec. 25.

Besides Johnston, a Pinetree Secondary graduate, the show also stars Keeso as Wayne/Shoresy; Jacob Tierney as Pastor Glen; Nathan Dales as Daryl; Michelle Mylette as Katy; and K. Trevor Wilson as Squirrely Dan.

The audience follows the "hicks" and "skids" — the latter of which Stewart is the leader — in the fictional town of Letterkenny that’s based on Keeso’s hometown of Listowel, Ont.

Johnston is also known for his role of Danny Lubbe in Less Than Kind, another Canadian TV comedy; in that program, he was nominated twice for Best Supporting Actor at the Canadian Screen Awards.
