Police seek tips after Vancouver senior found dead in Kitsilano home

Vancouver police are investigating after a 77-year-old man was found dead in his home.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is looking for tips after a man's body was found in a Kitsilano home.

The victim is Justis Daniel, a 77-year-old-man, according to a press release from the VPD; police were called to a home near the intersection of West 3 Avenue and MacDonald Street where his body was discovered around 11 a.m. Dec. 10. Police don't state if it was his home.

"Police are looking for dash-cam footage and witnesses who were in the area of Tatlow Park and the adjacent streets of Point Grey Road and West 3rd Avenue between Balaclava and MacDonald streets between 7 a.m. on December 9 and 11 a.m. December 10," states the release.

No arrests have been made in the death and the investigation is ongoing.

This is the 17th homicide in the City of Vancouver this year.
