A TV series based on Stephen King's The Stand will be filming again in Richmond this week.

Steveston Merchants tweeted about the upcoming shoot on Feb. 27, noting that filming would take place for the TV series entitled "Radio Nowhere" on March 9 in Steveston.

In November 2019, the City of Vancouver warned residents that there would be a film shoot with highly visible graphic content in Gastown.

The shoot, which involved multiple mock dead bodies and even a mock dead police horse, transformed the city streets into a post-apocalyptic hellscape. Based on the horror novel The Stand by Stephen King, the set design for the TV series "Radio Nowhere" called for a great deal of disturbing imagery, dialogue and noise.

According to StephenKing.comThe Stand is about a deadly flu that wipes out most of the world’s population. The survivors must choose between following two people and, “The two factions prepare for a confrontation between the forces of good and evil.”

IMDb states that the 10-episode series is set to air in 2020 and stars Whoopi Goldberg, James Marsden, Jovan Adepo, and Amber Heard.

Prior to filming Radio Nowhwere, season two of "Home Before Dark" will film in Steveston from March 4 - 6.
