Mounties in Prince George are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman suspected in numerous liquor store thefts in the city.

Cpl. Crag Douglass says on Nov. 13, 2019, police received a report at roughly 2 p.m. of a theft from a liquor store on Domano Boulevard.

Staff also told police the suspect had stolen from them before but they didn't report it.

On Jan. 8, 2020, police received a report at around 10 a.m. of a theft from a liquor store on Massey Drive. The suspect stole two bottles of liquor before fleeing in a vehicle described as a white Jeep.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian female
  • 50 to 60 years old
  • Heavy set
  • Long, greyish hair
  • Glasses
  • Large, brown purse

Douglass adds investigators believe the suspect has likely committed similar offences at other liquor stores in Prince George and is warning businesses to be aware.

If you have any information about the suspect and their identity, you are asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
