Prince George residents arrested after multiple drug trafficking warrants executed

Fentanyl, cocaine and other drugs were found after the warrants were executed

Two suspects from Prince George were arrested and released after five controlled drugs and substances act search warrants were executed close to a week ago. 

Prince George RCMP says the Street Crew Unit executed five warrants at multiple residences in the city on Aug. 1, 2019.

Three warrants were executed at the 2800 block Parent Rd., the 4100-block 1 Ave., and the 4300-block Eaglenest Cres. 

The other two were located at residences in the 100-block McIntyre Cres.

Overall, the searches found a shotgun, two handguns, a large amount of cash, more than one kilogram of cocaine, seven ounces of fentanyl, 10 ounces of methamphetamine, and four ounces of crack cocaine. 

Police add a 2019 GMC Sierra Pickup truck as well as a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe was seized as offence related property. 

As a result, two men from Prince George were arrested (38 years old and 41 years old) but have since been released pending further investigation.
