RCMP ask public to help locate robbery suspect

Surrey RCMP is asking the public for help identifying a suspect in a robbery that took place in a Surrey convenience store last month.

On April 2, at roughly 6:14 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store located in the 5900-block of 168 Street in the Cloverdale area.

According to a release, an unidentified male suspect entered the store, stole money from the cash register, and fled. However, no weapons were produced and there were no injuries to the victim.

The suspect is described as a heavy set South Asian male with a beard, 6' to 6'2” tall, 30-40 years old, wearing a grey hooded sweater and black track pants.
